OUR BACKGROUND
SNL Marine is a wholly owned Nigerian marine services company with a good track record in the Oil and Gas Services Sector.
We have entered into a strategic
relationship with Seacontractors BV, a specialised marine services company based in The Netherlands with a global presence, to act as our technical partner.
Although formed in 2017, SNL Marine until very recently was trading as SMIT Nigeria Limited, a company with over 40 years of experience successfully operating within the Marine sector of the Oil industry.

As Smit Nigeria Limited, we ran a successful joint venture with
Smit International BV and rendered impeccable services to industry
majors like Chevron Nigeria Limited and Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas
Limited.

LOCAL CONTENT
The overall plan for local labour employment earmarks some percentage of required labour force for recruitment among the communities. This is dependent on availability of suitable qualified applicants in each of these communities.
TRAINING
SNL Marine has a training programme and competency management for Tug masters that will allow personnel to be trained to internationally held standards. this programme will increase the efficiency of our training efforts and will guarantee the timely availability of competent personnel
HEALTH AND SAFETY
SNL marine is committed to upholding the highest standards of Health and Safety.

Our management is committed to providing leadership and necessay resources implement a successful Health and safety system.

This is also linked to good behavioural practices which are acknowledged and encouraged. Behavioural practices that do not fit in with these practices will be improved.

VESSEL AVAILABILITY
We have a fleet of vessels made available to us through our partners Seacontractors BV. Our tugs are currently operating globally and in West Africa, and are available for contract. Our tugs provide a wide range of services such as harbour and coastal towage, offshore towing, and emergency response. Each of our tugs are equipped with the latest technology, and are manned by highly skilled and experienced crews. Please see some of the tugs currently available on our website for more information.
